Based on the famous hand of cards in pokerm this was a fun image to do, I even created my own cards for the image.
In case your wondering what the Dead Mans Hand is, heres a quote from Wikipedia; In poker, the dead man's hand is a two-pair hand, namely "aces and eights." The hand gets its name due to the legend of it having been the five-card-draw hand held by Wild Bill Hickok at the time of his murder (August 2, 1876). It is accepted that the hand included the aces and eights of both of the black suits. Hope you like it. I'll upload a couple of companion image as well. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
