A Blood Angels Marine shares a human moment with a fleeing mother and her daughter.
A new Artwork for you all. This is a portfolio peice thats taken a while to finish between other things. I'm quite pleased with this, the lighting being great fun to mess with. I wanted to show that a Space marine is meant to be something like 9 foot tall after all the genetic manipulation that have, so putting one next to a normal human mother and her daughter really brought that comparison home. I liked drawing the little space marine plush toy the girl has in her hand. Kind of a nice little story there as the girl, who's been playing with her teddy, final meets the real thing and is awe struck by it. Enjoy EDIT: Wow, thanks for the DD and all the lovely comments. Really appreciate them. Thank you! EDIT 2: Worked on the woman a little more to improve her Proportions. Not perfect, but better. Had a lot of really cool comments about this Image, which I really, really appreciate. Now, if only someone would rave about it to Games Workshop! Hint...! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
